Pumpkin Patch

Last Sunday, we made our annual trip to Nebraska City in search of THE perfect pumpkin. We had tons of fun and the weather was gorgeous. It was fun to create memories with both of my children. I can so easily remember Luke's first trip to the pumpkin patch and it feels like it was just yesterday. **sniff**
Things have been going well around here. We stay busy, especially with school functions. Luke is still enjoying preschool time and is very inquisitive about reading. He knows all of his letter sounds, and we have begun to read some small words. He's pretty quick at picking up on things and for this, I'm thankful.
Katelyn is in that phase right now where she does something different every day. She's not much of a crawler...just the army crawl. She's much more ambitious. She took three steps yesterday and can stand for a few seconds on her own. Today she gave me the sign for "more" and started to clap her hands. It is quite adorable. She babbles a ton and can say, "Uh oh, ball and 'moooo' for a cow". She amazes me everyday.

Love Nebraska City--don't think we'll make it this year though. Katelyn does seem like a pretty ambitious little lady! She will be running circles with Luke before you know it!
