A couple of mini stories for you...
Last night, we went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant in Columbus. About half way through the meal, Luke says, "Wait a minute! I think we forgot baby Katelyn!" He didn't see that she was there, in her carseat on the floor.
At church, there is a kids bathroom in between the nursery and Luke's Sunday School room. During Sunday School, I was in the nursery nursing Kate. Luke was using the bathroom and must have heard me chatting with the other moms. Anyway, he opens the door to the nursery. Much to my surprise, he has his pants down. Fortunately, his underwear were up, but unfortunately his "package" was hanging out the side of his underwear. It was a proud mommy moment.
I have to admit...I hide from the Schwan's man...literally. When I hear his truck coming down the street (yes, I can hear his truck) I shut all of the lights off and Luke is instructed to not make any sound. Why do I do this? I can't believe I just admitted that to anyone. Anyways, today we had a lot of the lights on in the house, which is quite unusual for us...I try to be as "green" as I can. I heard a truck and instructed Luke to help me turn off all of the lights. As the truck neared, we were still turning off lights. Bummer...I thought I was caught. Busted.
Good thing it was the UPS man.
